The Diocese of Sekondi is 200 miles from North to South and 120 miles from East to West, encompassing Tropical rainforest near the coast and grassland further North.   The retiring Mothers' Union President, Christine Gwira has been very involved in education in the 6 years of her Presidency.

Under her enthusiastic leadership a small nursery was established.

Each year new buildings have been added and now there is provision for primary pupils from primary 1 to 4.

Members in Blackburn have been able to provide books, stationary, writing and colouring equipment.
