Jubilee Debt Campaign
The Mothers' Union is a member of the Jubilee Debt Campaign, a coalition of regional and local groups and national organisations supporting cancellation of the un-payable debts of the world's poorest countries through fair and transparent processes.

In 2005 the MU will be backing the MakePovertyHistory campaign, a mass coalition of activists committed to eradicating poverty through the three critical areas of trade, debt and aid.

Women's National Commission
The Mothers' Union is a full member of the Women's National Commission.  The Women's National Commission is composed of 86 women's organisations which act as an advisory committee to UK government to ensure that the informed opinions of women are considered in government debate and policy.
