"....I can't begin to explain what a terrible year this has been. As a single parent, since 1988, even though I work, I have never been able to afford a holiday. This year more than most we needed a break. I don't have the words to express our gratitude to you..."

"...Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your lovely caravan. You have put a lot of thought, care and consideration into making this holiday special in so many ways for lots of people. We have had a really enjoyable holiday..."
"...thank you for making this a lovely week for us all and best wishes for keeping the caravan going for others who are fortunate to stay here and leave with special memories..."

"...thank you for a wonderful, happy and peaceful holiday. We hope and pray you will continue the wonderful work you do for the Lord, blessing so many people..."
From a member of the Clergy who referred a family "...I think that it is marvellous that the Mothers Union is able to do this for those in need, and these days there are more and more people who are in such desperate need."   From Mothers' Union members...The AFIA scheme is a very rewarding experience for everyone involved in the organisation and administration of the holidays and is one of the many ways the members carry out the 5th object of the Mothers' Union, 'To help those whose family life has met with adversity'.
