| A Great Day Out at Camelot. | |||

As part of our Diocesan Celebrations of International Year of the Family more than 500 Mothers' Union members, friends and families descended on Camelot Theme Park in Chorley. No one allowed the weather to dampen their spirit and by late morning the sun was shining and the party was in full swing. |

Activities in the central arena began in the afternoon with a medieval joust involving 4 Knights. A quite spectacular performance, loud and bright and scary - the children loved it! Groups could be seen picnicing around the site, and many members gathered at 2pm for a parade of banners from all the Deaneries in the Diocese. Prayers and singing were led in distinctive style by the puppeteers from St Paul's, Oswaldwistle. |
