St Saviour's Mothers' Union 

1906 - 2006

St Saviours Mothers Union in Leyland Deanery celebrated their centenary in June with a service in the church, the preacher was Father Tony and our own Vicar Graham Halsall lead the service and dedicated the kneelers which each member in the branch had put some stitches in; these kneelers will be used for wedding services.

After the service we had a buffet in the church hall, we invited Marion Whitehead, Parnal, Jenny and members from other branches in the Deanery.

The following Sunday we had refreshments after the morning service for all our church family.

We sent the Queen a Card on her birthday and told her of our celebrations, and received a reply congratulating us on our centenary.
